What are the reasons for the clamping of the steering wheel of electric sweeping vehicles
Front wheel chain issue:
A common cause of the steering wheel of an electric sweeper becoming stuck is the loosening or breaking of the chain above the front wheel. When the chain fails to operate normally, it affects the flexibility of the steering wheel's rotation.
Solution: Check the integrity of the chain. If it is loose or broken, replace it with a new one in a timely manner.
Aging or damaged steering system components:
Components of the steering system, such as the steering column, steering knuckle, and steering tie rod, may cause a clunking or binding sensation when turning the steering wheel if they are used for an extended period or are damaged.
Solution: Inspect all components of the steering system and promptly replace any that are aged or damaged with new ones.
Wear of bearing or shaft sleeve:
Wear and tear on the bearing or shaft sleeve can increase the friction during rotation, leading to a rough steering wheel movement and a stalling phenomenon.
Solution: Inspect the condition of the bearing and shaft sleeve. If there is any wear, promptly replace them with new ones.
The steering wheel lock is functional:
Some electric sweepers are equipped with a steering wheel lock function. When the vehicle is parked, the steering wheel will automatically lock to prevent theft. If you try to turn the steering wheel at this time, you may feel a slight resistance.
Solution: Check whether the steering wheel lock is in the locked state. If it is, use the correct key or method to unlock the steering wheel.
